Bio
I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a specialization in Film Production, and I have experience in both live-action and animation productions, in fiction and nonfiction, across Mexico, Canada, and Spain. My interest in multiculturalism has enriched my ability to work in international environments, fostering effective collaboration within diverse teams.
Throughout my career, I have written several short films, one of which has been awarded at festivals in Mexico, the United States, Canada, and Italy. I am currently developing my first feature film, with the aspiration to direct it in the future. Additionally, I have coordinated production teams in film, animation, and television, which has allowed me to hone leadership and management skills.
Recently, I obtained a Master's in Production and Direction in Radio and Television in Madrid, which expanded my vision and storytelling capabilities across various formats. I currently work at TRECE TV as web content editor.

"Upon my introduction to the “Rosie’s Rules” production, Joaquín Casillas had been working in the Production Coordinator role since early October 2020. I found Joaquín was deeply immersed into the production´s logistics, and he was extremely helpful guiding myself and every new production crew member through the various current processes, files, schedules, and assets. He was also very adaptable to every change that needed to be implemented. Joaquin was a tremendous help in the creation and organization of our assets, often with little guidance. He is a self-starter and starts every day with a smile. When tasked with new or different tasks such as elaborating production templates, coordinating our collaboration with clients, coordinating revisions, providing cultural references, or editing “As Produced Scripts” for delivery, he approached everything with a “can-do” attitude. Team members were able to rely that Joaquín would provide answers and information accurately and timely.
Joaquín came to every meeting with a positive outlook and has valued creative and cultural input that is a part of the very fabric of our show. Joaquín will be a great asset to any team he is a part of, and I hope to be able to work with him again in the future."
